Why should you hold your wedding reception at Camerton Community Hall?

Set in beautiful Somerset countryside with amazing views across the Cam valley and just 6 miles from Bath, Camerton Community Hall offers all you need to make that special occasion even better. Our Weekend Wedding Package gives you plenty of time to set up and clear away without the pressure.

Hire the Hall from Friday through to Sunday (see below for hours of hire, no overnight use). We have a spacious hall and kitchen with a separate bar area and ample car parking (plus grassed area where possible).
​
The large recreation field which adjoins the hall can also be made available for your use. We often have weddings with a marquee or wedding guests just hiring a pitch on the field to stay overnight in caravans or under canvas so they can take full advantage of preparing the reception or just enjoying being where they are. We have showers and even a chemical waste disposal unit!

Whether you take our whole weekend wedding package or just a day or so you will be very pleasantly surprised at just how many facilities and how much space you get for your money.

Wedding Package
The Wedding Package includes:

Hire of the hall: Friday 12 noon to 11pm, Saturday 8am - 12 midnight and Sunday 8am - 12 noon.

Use of catering oven, crockery and cutlery, dishwasher etc. Please note we do not have glasses.

Sorry, no outside bars allowed, only Celebration Bars to be used, corkage charge £2 per Bottle. Wine/drinks packages can be supplied by Celebration Bars on request.

Specialist alcohol experience (Gin Bar, Cocktail Bar) must be approved by Booking Secretary and a copy of their Licence provided. No other liquor to be provided.

All activities to stop at Midnight to allow for clearing up and dispersal of guests to prevent disturbance of neighbours. A Camerton Community Hall Steward will be in attendance at events

Q. How many guests can the hall take?
A: easily 180 seated, depending on table arrangements

Q. What is the Weekend Wedding Package?
A: A special discounted rate for hiring the hall en bloc over a weekend.

Q. If we take the package, does anyone else have access to the hall or field?
A: No, it’s all yours for the period booked. But if you don’t close the gates you may get the odd person think they can still use the field.
Q. Does the hall have Wi Fi?
A. Yes, the access code is available on the foyer notice board.

Q. Is there a PA system?
A. Yes, we have recently installed a new system which caters for indoor and outdoor use

A. The booking secretary will be able to make suggestions, but please be aware that this is in no way a recommendation of the hall committee
